Compare your numbers with other European SaaS and AI companies
Share a few numbers about your business — like founder pay or AI spend — and see how you compare with similar companies. Other companies never see your individual answers, only group results.
About 10 minutes · Work email only · Nothing is ever shown for groups under eight companies

Answer a short survey
About 10 minutes, once per survey. Every question explains exactly what to count, so your numbers can be compared with everyone else's.
We check it, then you get the results
A person looks at every submission, usually within two working days. Genuine answers unlock that survey's results: the typical range, and where your company sits in it.
Results appear once at least eight companies have answered, so early on a survey may show “not enough data yet”. That protects everyone's privacy — see below.
What you get
A report that answers the question behind every number: is this normal for a company like mine?
See where you stand
For every figure: the midpoint, the range the middle half of companies sit in, and your own number marked on it.
Compare with companies like yours
Narrow it down by country, size and funding, or put groups side by side on one scale.
See how others do it
Not just numbers. Which practices are common, which are rare, and which ones you share.

Who it's for
Founders, CEOs and finance leads
At European SaaS and AI companies, of any size, who want to know how their numbers stack up.
One account per company
Your email domain identifies your company. Colleagues who sign up with the same domain see the same results.
What you can compare
Each survey covers one topic. Take part in one and its results unlock for your company.

Everyone answers the same question
“ARR” means different things to different founders. So every number question comes with a plain-English definition — what to include, what to leave out, which period — right next to the answer box. That's what makes the results mean something.
And a person checks every submission before it counts, so made-up numbers don't end up in the results.
Is my data safe?
You're sharing sensitive numbers on a platform your competitors also use. Here is exactly what happens to them.
The picture shows the rule that matters most: a group only appears when it has at least eight companies. Smaller groups stay hidden, so nobody can work out one company's number.
Other companies never see your answers
They only see group results, like the typical range. Never one company's figure.
No group under eight companies is ever shown
If too few companies match your filters, you see “not enough data” instead of a number. This rule lives in the database itself, not just on the website.
We watch for anyone trying to single out one company
Every lookup is logged and rate-limited, so someone repeatedly narrowing the filters to isolate one company gets noticed.
Our admins can see raw data — and every look is recorded
We need this for support and moderation. Each access is written to a log that nobody, including us, can edit or delete.
Questions
Who can see my answers?
Other companies never can — not your answers, and not whether you took part. Neither can your own colleagues: answers are visible only to the person who filled them in. The small team at We Love SaaS that checks submissions can see them, because a person reviews every one; each time they look, it is recorded in a log nobody can edit. Everything anyone else sees is a group result, and only for groups of at least eight companies.
What do I get?
A report that shows where your company stands on every question: the midpoint, the range the middle half of companies sit in, and your own figure marked on it. You can narrow it to companies like yours by country, size and funding. See a sample report.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Taking part costs you about ten minutes and your answers, and the results for that survey are yours.
Who can take part?
European software and AI companies. You sign up with your work email — your email domain is how we know which company you're with, so personal addresses don't work. You don't need to be a We Love SaaS member.
When do I get the results?
Once the survey has closed and enough companies have taken part. We check your answers first, usually within two working days, and email you when the results are ready.
Can I change my answers?
Yes, until the survey closes. You can save a draft and come back, and you can reopen answers you already sent in. After the survey closes they are fixed, so the results don't shift under people who have already read them.
Can my colleagues use it too?
Yes. Anyone who signs up with the same email domain joins the same company and sees the same results. Each company answers a survey once, and the answers are visible only to the person who filled them in — colleagues can see that it was done, never what was entered.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, yourself, from your account page. That removes your sign-in, name and email address. To have your company's answers removed as well, email us.
Who's behind this
Benchmarks is run by We Love SaaS, a curated network of software and AI founders and executives, rooted in the Benelux. It started as a podcast in 2018 and has grown into a community of more than 500 founders and executives.
Founders kept asking each other the same questions — what do you pay yourself, how big is your option pool, what do you spend on AI — and nobody had numbers they could trust. This is our answer: real figures, checked by hand, shared in a way that protects everyone who contributes.
We Love SaaS also runs the We Love SaaS podcast and a members' community for founders and executives. You don't need to be a member to take part here.
